Artist's Comments
This is a LARP weapon (Germany), built for this Hobby alone.
It's core is a glassfibre staff, ranging approx. 2m. The blades have been cut from a special foam, using a 3-pieces technique for perfect hold. To prevent that the core staff rips through the fabric. it's been strengthened with a special fibre mesh. Last but not least, the decoration and latex colors have been adjusted to fit a typically elven "magical" weapon. The metal color resembles something like adamantium, mithril, crystal...whichever you like to think of. |
